LOVELY PERFORMANCE WITH A FEW STANDOUTS
Great choreography/beautiful costumes/exceptional venue. Couple playing Marie and Nutcracker had amazing chemistry and dance was both expressive and exuberant; support dancers were consistent and lovely. Of the divertissements, the Chinese Nightingale and Spanish were exceptional. Dancers Seyong Kim (Nutcracker), Ramona Kelly (Marie) and Erik Debono (Spanish) handed in top notch performances. Overall great show for the entire family. Audience's enthusiasm was off-the-charts! Seating in center of theater, either on main floor or balcony will provide best view. Great location: easy parking, across street from BART. Right in the middle of some of Oakland's best restaurants.
