The lead singer for Aventura, Romeo Santos is one of the US's top Bachata artists. Fondly known as "King of modern Bachat" Santos has popularized this traditional Latin American genre amongst a wider audience. Santos first began performing with his church choir at the age of just twelve. He formed the group Aventura in 1994 and though he still tours with them, has gained much of his fan base via his solo work.
